Cobb Events for Seniors

The event happens on the first of each month. In partnership with Project U First, South Cobb Regional Library is hosting a hygiene product donation drive.

Cobb is celebrating Older Americans Month with a free food giveaway for seniors 55 and older, noon - 2 p.m. Thursday, May 23, at First Christian Church of Mableton, 878 Old Alabama Road SW, Mableton.

Musical entertainment this Memorial Day weekend at the Mable House Amphitheatre will start with an evening of Jazz with Boney James featuring Pieces of a Dream, 7 p.m. Saturday, May 25. The next night will feature an evening of R&B with Tamar Braxton featuring Silk, 7 p.m. Sunday, May 26. Bring your own food, drinks, small coolers, chairs, or blankets.
