This meet and greet will be for any member interested in becoming more active in helping advocate for Cobb seniors. We will also be finalizing activities and events for 2024 to be presented at the Annual Meeting. You are welcome to join us and offer your ideas.
Senior Citizen Council of Cobb "Meet and Greet"Greet"
You are invited to join the Senior Citizen Council of Cobb Board of Directors for a
“Meet and Greet”“Meet and Greet” on Friday, March 8 from 11:30 am - 1 pm.
We want you to tell us your ideas. Maybe you do not have much time for
involvement but we want to hear your ideas. We all have different schedules and
commitments.
But if you could take the time, PLEASE JOIN US. We want to meet with more of our
fellow Cobb seniors and have them help us develop our plans as we continue to
advocate for our older residents in 2024.
The event is being held at the Cobb County Switzer Library near Marietta Square at
266 Roswell Street, Marietta.
After the “Meet and Greet” you may want to browse the library and learn more about
the wealth of resources the Cobb County Public Library system, winner of Georgia’s
2023 Library of the Year, offers to its citizens. Of special interest to many seniors is
The Georgia Room, a local history and genealogical collection of over 15,000 items
which is housed at the Switzer Library.
